This project was part of a collaborative publication project by local + international students of RMIT Brunswick, studying the Diploma of Graphic Design - funded by Kickstarter.
The title of the publication was Identity/US.
The title of the publication was Identity/US.
These were originally made for spreads, but turned into individual posters to promote the publication funding in Kickstarter. The descriptive texts on these posters were a collaboration with a good friend, Iyonie Tran.
The idea behind these posters were a collision of personalities, represented in a combination of clashing colours,
resulting in a 'loss of identity'. Unconsciously, we are all living a life where our identities are not controlled by us, but by the people around us, to comply and satisfy what they want to see but not what or who we truly are. This may result in a toxic ideation and perceptive of ourselves, and these posters were made to reprimand and contradict the idea.
